I have a empty wall and a console table, planning on doing something like this



I am thinking to paint the wall a medium gray and refinish the table a similar yellow to the inspiration.

For the frames I will NOT be using all white, just several shapes and sizes, but black and here and there a red one or orange for a pop of color.

Do you have a wall like this?

Here's mine. The two photos are the same room. The first layout we had for about five years. The second one is the same wall after a change-up this year where we installed a ledge cut to fit the room corner-to-corner (The Husband is a woodworker, I'm spoiled). You'll notice that most of the items remained the same, just rearranged.

My taste is completely opposite the more modern and cleaner look you posted in your examples. But it sounds like you're after layout ideas for utilizing space, not theme and color ideas. Hopefully these can be of some help to you in terms of the big picture.

Braziliangirl, I love this look and have it several spots in the house. I just took some pictures to upload, but I'm on my fiance's work laptop - haha - think they'll appreciate them?

Hadley I love the look you have. I love both looks, but I am definitely more towards Hadley's look with my own decorating. Everything I buy has a rustic look, or I alter it to have one.
