Funny I just saw this on the AD web site the other day too and was kind of ticked. Wish I would have known, I would have gotten the diamond side stones instead.

I FINALLY just purchased my ring from ashadiamonds.com. I chose the ring from moissaniteco. eng 603 with a 7.5mm cushion cut asha in the H color (I prefer steely over icy). I ordered and paid for my ring this past Friday.
Here's the thing, when I first ordered, customer service suggested that I change the moissy sidestones to asha side stones so that the center would match better to the baguette sides. I went along with it because they called them "ashas" so I figured they were the same as my asha center stone. Well today, I see on their website that small accent stones like that are just the asha core and do not have the amorphous diamond coating which is what makes ashas so amazing. So I immediately wrote customer service saying I didn't like this because even their own website boasts that the amorphous diamond coating is what makes their stone better as regular CZ is more porous and will cloud over time. In the e-mail I wrote today, I asked them not to switch out the moissy for the asha side stones(because I know moissy doesn't cloud. They wrote me back and said they could do that but stated again that that they don't normally recommend mixing moissy and asha. My baguette side stones will be .18 carats each. I worry that regular CZ will look too white next to my H colored asha. From what I understand, most moissanites are I-J in color, right? Wouldn't that match my H colored asha stone better? What do you guys think? Please help. I have to tell them what I want in the next 24 hours so they know how to proceed with my ring. THANK YOU!!!! We received your email and we are going to send you a couple of options. Please give us until tomorrow morning to get them together (the baguettes are large and so pretty expensive in this size, but we can make the same ring with slightly smaller baguette side stones).

I'd go with diamond side stones personally. That's what I did with my asha center and no one can tell that my center stone is not a diamond. They matched the color perfectly. Personally I think that the price difference is worth it. For my ring the difference in price from asha side stones to diamonds was $340. Of course I'm sure it varies from ring to ring depending on tcw, etc.

Hmm, I am having a think here!
The cz sidestones that I had with my asha ring matched very well and didn't look any whiter than my centre stone. Having said that, my centre was a princess cut so would have been whiter than an H.
I think you need to ask yourself the question if you would mind if the sidestones sometimes looked a little warmer than your centre. This wouldn't happen often just in certain lighting. I am unsure myself how moissy baguettes perform as I have only ever had RB's which face up the whitest.
I am hoping someone else will reply to this thread as there are ladies on this forum that have paired moissy eternities with Asha erings..I think.
Are you going to get a quote for diamond sidestones? I think that would be the best option if you could do it. If not, and it was me, I would go for the cz as they are much better than normal cz's anyway and a lot of ladies on here are happy with them.
I have just had a look at your ring, it's going to be gorgeous!
