the setting

But in Rose Gold with a "6.5mm/ 1ct." or a "7mm/ 1.20ct" un-enhanced OEC center stone.

We were thinking un-enhanced OEC will look the best in this vintage/ antique looking piece?

She thinks anything over 1 ct. will look gaudy and unbelievable due to our incomes but I think 1.2 ct. will look normal and perfect on her size 10 finger.
Thoughts?

i LOVE IT!

here's a mock-up of what it would (kinda) look like in rose gold with a warm OEC.

it's delicious!

love

does ArtCarved offer rose gold?

I love it! How did you do that?

"does ArtCarved offer rose gold?"

They don't on their web site but the Jeweler called and they said no problem and he can special order it.

I think 7mm would be a perfect size. My finger is a size 9 and I've had that common "shrinkage" issue when wearing rings with stones that are 6/6.5mm or smaller.

i just adjusted the colour of the image in a photo editing program, and added in a picture of one of my antique cut stones. it's not perfect... but it gives a much better idea of what the end product might look like, compared to their white metal/RB picture smile

i think a 6.5-7mm stone is a lovely size. and, especially in a warmer, antique cut, i think you can definitely go a little larger (stone-wise) than you can in a colourless, or near colourless, modern cut. wink

srsly, i really, really love that ring. ♥

thanks for doing that, I really like the way the accent stones are visible against the rose where on the white it was just sparkly

It's already a very pretty ring, but the rose gold just makes it pop! I ordered my ring in a size 8 (I live in Florida and I wanted to make sure I accounted for any swelling while it's hot) and I have a 7mm cushion. The sizing is a bit different with cushions compared to rounds, but the stone doesn't look like "too much" or anything. I'm sure it'll look lovely on her hand :]
