well, I'm a new owner of moissy and at first I said and believed that my stone shows a lot more of the yellow than I expected. however, I was looking at it sitting in a green room at a yellow pine writing desk. so yes, in that environment it did throw yellows the way it does in this video. however, now, when I've been staring at it for week and a half, it looks very white most of the time. The thing is that it just picks up colour from surroundings in general and it is not necessarily yellow. as I have stated here earlier, I've seen mine take up shades of green, pink and blue depending on what the ring is next to. but not to a point where it looks like costume jewellery. it is just a slight shading difference that no one besides me picks up. I have to say that picking moissy was the best decision I could have ever made. it is absolutely stunning. and my unenhanced stone appeared a lot sparklier, clearer and whiter next to my friend's diamond. I think often people forget that not all diamonds look the way they do in the adds/store. pick moissy!! :P

I already had some Moissanite earrings and got another pair just yesterday that are a bit bigger. I bought them from an individual on Ebay. She had told me that she has experience with Moissanite and these earrings do not show any yellow. She was absolutely correct. No yellow whatsoever. I have had some in the past that DEFINITELY had a yellow cast but these do not at all. For me, with these new earrings, it's getting used to the larger size that's my issue. (they are 1.5 cts total weight)
But honestly, I have a pretty big stone in my wedding ring that's a diamond and it looks different in different light. Maybe that's just stones in general.

I have a 1 carat unenhanced solitaire. It most definitely doesn't look that yellow. I'm almost certain they're shining a yellow light onto that ring. The body color of moissanite is variable, some slightly more colored than others. The newer stones have less color in general. But all moissanite is very reflective of colors in its environment. That's why you might see some stones here that look almost minty green when viewed under trees, or blue when pictured under a clear sky, or gray/green when depicted under a cloudy sky. The stone is still inherently colored the same as it always was. But it is reflecting everything around it more than most diamonds would. When viewed under sunlight, as others have said, it is just magical, again due to how nicely reflective it is. Just my observations, anyway.

Moissy is just weird in the car. My peachy pink is salmon coloured in the car. As long as you like your moissanite in the car, you will love it the rest of the time, lol. Oh gosh yes! Except if I put it down by my knee in the car out of the light. Then it just GLOWS. But normally in the car, in regular light, it reverts back to it's moody teenage self.
