Wink did state in another thread (something to the effect that) that modifications could probably be made to the originals. Those would in all likelihood, entail up charges from working from the original molds, though.

If I can find that post from him, I'll quote or link it here.

Edited to add:

This is speaking to the Helen of Troy:

Yes! Mee too, id be interested in a quote for the helen of troy for a 1.5 ct in WG.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

LOL, I emailed him for the same quote!

I'm not sure if it'll work for a 1.5 though... I was doing some searching on here and there was mention about it only fitting a 1ct stone... not sure if that's true or not but we'll find out soon enough!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If need be I can make it also for a larger stone. We will have to determine the costs on it, as it may require more diamonds, gold, platinum, etc, so the costs for the various sizes will vary somewhat.

Hi everyone! The Trellis setting will only hold a 2ct (7mm) Asscher. I do remember hearing that it can also hold an 7mm Flanders. It is extremely low-profile, which is why I love it so much. It is a very substantial, heavy and solid setting, especially in platinum! I have smaller fingers (4.75), but love the width. I will try to attach some old pictures that I have of it.

Hey Trisha, Thanks for posting those. A 2 carat is 7mm. I'm confused. Will it hold a 7mm or 8mm? Thank you!
