Letting the cat out of the bag...

Okay. I got my 3 stone Emerald Cut ring on Wednesday. It was so beautiful in the box, but I was not sure that I was in love with it on my finger. I waited a day and then showed it to DH. I told him I was leaning toward sending it back. He said whatever I want (gotta love a guy like that!) Over the weekend we both kept taking it out of the box and looking at it more closely. Sunday night the tag was removed and it is on my finger for good. I had originally thought that the center stone was not big enough (since it is NOT a diamond, I can afford bigger ;-) Upon closer reflection, I think the proportions are excellent between the center stone and the two sides... it does not sparkle very much, but it does let off shards of color that are amazing and unusual... and the style looks modern and upscale ;-) I am very happy, and enjoy this ring very much as an everyday beauty. It is low set enought to be very functional on the right hand, and once I got used to the Euro band, it is wonderfully comfortable. I am satisfied yet again... and kinda leery of ever purchasing any other sim... wouldn't want to be disappointed ;-)
I would post pictures but my darling doxie pup shewed through my compact flash reader cord ;-( I have to go buy a new one. As soon as I can, I will... maybe even get a manicure first.
Today is my anniversary and I have already absconded with two new rings... and I found a 1.5 HA in a platinum cathedral setting, and a 1.5 Asscher in the Cartier setting with matching band, plus a pair of Asha Tiffany earrings for sale on DT... and I bought them all! That means the only other stone I will need to complete my desired collection will be a princess ;-) TeeHee! Now I need to search for more fingers, lol.

Nichole, Wow! You are getting to be quite the Asha junkie! Many congratulations on all your wonderful purchases, I am truly pleased for you, envious also, but pleased! I am still eyeing that 3 stone Emerald, but I slap my hand when I "accidentally" mouse to that page. Happy anniversary to you and your DH, you do gotta love a guy like that! Will be looking for those pics when you can do them. (Give your doxie a little (((hug))) from me, not for chewing through the cord, but just because!)

Cyn,
Yes, his left eye is blue his right eye is brown. He has the cutest scraggly red beard that the picture did not show... he looks like a carbon copy of Willie Nelson, thus the name. He is hilarious... full of life and personality and he always makes me smile ;-)
