Several of the ladies posted up some of their favorite drinks over the weekend in the pub thread. I thought I would move them here so they can be found later!

pineapple martini (Courtesy of MsT):

Cut a fresh pineapple into large chunks, and place in large glass container

Pour a large bottle of Stolie Orange (1.75 L) over the pineapple. Cover with plastic wrap and set on your counter for 1 week. Don't cheat!

Remove pineapple from vodka, squeezing any remaining juice out of each chunk. I just use my hands. Discard chunks.

Add 1 large can of pineapple juice. I don't remembe the brand--Dole maybe--that comes in the alum can.

Add 1 8oz bottle of tropicana OJ. No pulp.

Save a milk container, make sure it is clean, and pour martini into container. It will keep in your fridge for about 10 days. Won't last that long though...

Shake in a martini shaker with some ice, strain and serve in a martini glass.

Or, if you are lazy like me...just pour over ice and serve.

Brandy Alexander (Courtesy of gemcat):

There are several ways to make it, but this is how I do it at home.

In a blender, put 2:1 ratio of creme de cocoa and brandy (example 2-oz c. de c. and 1-oz brandy).

Add to that Bluebell French or Homemade Vanilla ice cream and a little 1/2 & 1/2, if needed.

Blend all together on High speed until the consistency of a milkshake.

Serve in highball glasses with a sprinkle of cinnamon or nutmeg on top. For the holidays, I substitute egg nog for the 1/2 & 1/2 and that's delicious, too.

Enriques (en-rick-ees) It's similiar to a mud slide but better (Courtesy of WTNLVR) :

Get a blender and fill half way with vanilla ice creme.

add 1 oz regular brandy

5 oz of Kaluha

1/8 teaspoon of vanilla.

blend until the consistancy of a thick Macdonalds frappe. Serve with cinnamon sprinkled on top.

Jim Jones (Courtesy of MsT):

1 cap of Grape Koolaid (either sugar free or regular, it is up to you).

Add 2 cups H20.

Add vodka to taste...the final product should really be a grape infused vodka. Sky Vodka seems to work the best. Serve in a sugar rimmed martini glass.

You now have a Jim Jones special!!! ( for anyone who does not know, Jim Jones/Jonestown was a cult leader who killed his followers with cyanide and tranquilizer laced grape kool-aid).

Cosmo (Courtesy of 7heaven):

4 parts Citron vodka

2 parts Cointreau or triple sec

1 part Lime juice (preferably fresh)

2 parts Cranberry juice

I like mine with Grey Goose vodka!

Electric ice tea (Courtesy of Aphrodite):

1/2 oz bourbon whiskey

1/2 oz vodka

1/2 oz gin

1/2 oz triple sec

3 - 4 oz Coca-Colaź

2 lemon wedges

It'll make ya fergit what ails ya!

This is one of my favorite drinks. It is a twist on the Long Island Iced Tea.

"Tokyo Green Tea"

1/2 oz. vodka
1/2 oz. gin
1/2 oz. white tequila
1/2 oz. triple sec
1/2 oz. midori (or more to taste)
splash sour mix
Pour over ice and shake, then top off with a splash of sprite.

Careful, these sneak up on you!!

Buy 6 pack or more of Miller Genuine Draft
Ice her down to perfection.
When it's too cold to hold the bottle bare handed...twist and serve!

I can drink gin and tonics all year round...they are my absolute favorite but I'll be a snob and say that I like them made with the classic Tanqueray, not Beefeaters. But I'm starting to love a good old rum and Coke, with Mount Gay Rum and classic Coke...
