Hey all! I am new to this world so I'm gonna need your help. I have just decided, much to my BF's delight, to go with an Asha rather than a real diamond for my engagement ring. I think I want a Flanders (or maybe Cushion), 2-2.5 ct, simple setting. My ring size is a 5. Is there anyone out there with hand pics to "see" how this would look on me? I really like the Tiffany Novo ring... any pics of a sim version of that?

I know that Sarah has the ASHA flanders and is in love with it. I have Wink's 12mm and 10mm flanders....in colors RG and colorless.
I think you will have to really examine the cuts and faceting of the Flanders and cushion, as they are very different, and the light refraction from them are not the same. Both are stunning. I had the cushion 5 carat ASHA, and it was stunning, but I decided I preferred either the asscher ASHA, which to me is unreal, or the Flanders.....if you can look at the Flanders as being similar *but not the same* to a square brilliant cut. The Flanders is not like a princess. It sparkles like mad in the gallery. In any event, I will post some photos in just a few, and be aware that your decision was probably one of the smartest you could make. You will have a superior stone without mortgaging your home, and have the satisfaction, that, even though you will have a sim, it will look better than most 'real' out there and you have nothing to regret or feel ashamed about.

I just received my 2ct ASHA Flanders back from resizing - there are pics in the gallery of it with my wedding band, but I will take pics of it alone when I get back from running my dogs (they run, I don't). I wear a 5.5 on my left hand. Having said that, I know Wench34 has lots of pics, so she may have a 2.5 picture.
I do not have any stone less than a 4 carat in my jewelry wardrobe. For me, it is not what DH would get me....so I have to wear what he has gotten me....the 2.5 would be a great stone for anyone!
