random question:
does anyone have (or have friends/family with) neurological disorders or symptoms of such?
if you're willing to share openly or via pm, i'd appreciate it!
thanks, ladies *^_^*

I am not a medical person so I am not quite sure what you mean about neurological problems.... Are you talking like autism? or more like bi-polar?

nerve disorders ... and, i suppose, other disorders that mimic nerve disorders.
mostly wondering about multiple sclerosis -
my family history is riddled with cancers of all kinds, but the only nerve disorder that i know of is that my living grandmother has pls ... i'm going through a series of tests to find out if i have ms. i'm trying to keep a happy balance between optimism and realism ...

I know a couple of people who have it, but I'm afraid I don't know that much about it.... maybe some of our medical people can chime in.

I'm sorry you're having to undergo testing; I hope it's not MS or anything else for that matter. Hopefully it's just something like vitamin D deficiency and doc prescribes 6 week vacation in Hawaii...

thanks, ladies.
i'll have to bring up the vacation idea to my doctor ... haha, we put that as one of our choices for duty stations - wouldn't that be great? *^_^*
i'm more optimistic today, even though most of my symptoms are back! my husband took my kids for a walk so i could try to exercise and have some alone time.
i'm very fortunate to have such a great husband ... i realize that more and more every day!

just wanted to update ... i'm getting an mri next week - my insurance is being nice *^_^* it's covered in full
also, the doctor's office called today and said that some additional blood work came back and i'm having a flare-up of a "mono" virus (she told me the name of the actual virus, but i don't remember) - i haven't been sick lately and the nurse asked me if i'd ever been dx'ed before and the answer is "no"
i am starting to wonder if for the past couple of years when i've been feeling like i'm just dragging every day and having trouble getting up now and again if that was actually the cause of it
my goodness, all this time i just thought i was just lazy! *^_^*
