I had a pair of moissy earrings that sparkled like crazy. I never took them out except to clean them!! At least not in larger sizes (over 1 carat) compared to a well cut natural diamond. Not like the average person is going to know right off the bat it's not a diamond so I wouldn't worry about that. While I like the warmth of moissanite, I don't like how it many times has a greyish greenish tinge to it and don't like how it shoots off a lot of green. I definately like moissanite in smaller sizes like accents or in stud earrings or solitaire pendants because they sparkle nicely and stay cleaner longer. But for rings with larger centers if I truly wanted the stone to be the most diamond like in appearance &/or pass it off as a diamond, I prefer Ashas or Winfields stones. It also could make a difference which stone shape you're interested in. That's just my opinion and if you stick around here long enough, you'll find everyone feels differently. Neither opinion is wrong since the person actually spending the money and wearing the piece is the only one who has to be happy. I would try both stones and go with the one you prefer. _________________________
