I was running an errand (on my day off) to Jewelers Row to find an amethyst stone for a customer. After doing that, a co-worker (also on her day off) and I went window shopping. I was able to try on an amazing 5 ct tanzanite diamond halo ring that retails for $24000.00 but the owner would sell me for only $10,000. (didn't have that much on me . . . LOL) So we had a ton of fun browsing. But then at one store, I found a little something for me. It's a light blue topaz with a sapphire halo and a few tiny diamonds in the band. It was very reasonable. I love the faceting on the topaz.
The one on my pointer is a little three stone halo ring. I hate to tell you I bought it at a mall jewelry store. I had a 5 stone .50 ctw diamond band that I'd purchased at Gordon's that I never wear and figured I'd never get the money I paid for it. So I went back in and asked if they did trade ups. They do so I traded that one up for the new one. And I confess for the price I paid, it is really very nice!
