5mm LY OEC Winfield's stone set in liebcor ring...

something about this setting just stuck with me ever since the first time i saw it. and when i got a gorgeous LY OEC from Winfield's, i knew i had to get it!
this is their "5.0 mm Round Scroll Setting" and in 14k pink gold. they charged me $4 to size it up to my size and $8 to set the stone.
i do think it would be better suited to smaller fingers - probably 6 & smaller. but that's the design of the ring and i love it anyway!
and a bunch of clickable thumbnails, if you want to see much larger photos - the last one is a profile shot beside my 6.5mm OEC Asha in the "Celeste" setting, just to show a comparison on the height of this ring:

i added a bunch more pictures - i did try to get a good handshot, but i didn't have any luck. i'll go try again, though 
these are the best i could do - not really full hand shots, but hopefully enough to give you the idea?

and here's the reason i couldn't keep trying to get a better picture:
he was getting very annoyed with me, because i was paying too much attention to *things* and not enough attention to scritches!

Very pretty Dana, perfect size stone for that ring!!
PS I assume he knows how to set sims....yay!! waiting for my 3 stone to arrive from him!!

it certainly appears he doesn't have a problem setting sims - i told him i was sending in a custom cut CZ to be set and he said as long as it was a calibrated stone it would be just fine in this setting.
and as far as i can tell under both loupe and extreme-close-up photos, there is no damage to the stone. so yay!
