Taking suggestions for settings for an engagement ring -
probably around a 1 ct. round stone....what I love:
Integrated head - I do not like peg heads or cathedral
Milgrain
Split shank - I like the idea of a split shank instead of wearing an engagement ring plus a wedding band
I also like non-split shanks
Fishtail prongs for center stone or claw prongs, split prongs - just not plain ordinary prongs
Bead set side stones
Vintage styles, art deco styles, 1920-1940's styles

it's exactly what it sounds like.  the head is soldered to the shoulders of the shank, instead of the head having a peg that goes into the hole on the shank.
