Hi all....have returned from my trip with hubby...it was heaven, pure heaven. San Francisco had to be one of the loveliest places to visit and the hotel we stayed at, the Huntington, was incredible. We had a suite and ate at the hotel's restaurant, the Big Four, which was some of the best food we ever had. The hotel surprised us with champagne and roses for our anniversary and the location in Nob Hill, was perfect for visiting the city. Sailing away from the city was stunning, and cruising under the Golden Gate Bridge was a once in a lifetime experience! I had fallen a day prior to the departure, and luckily, had a massage afterwards and used crystals and REIKI and shrunk the wound and area from over 6 inches down to 1.5 inches in 10 minutes, which stunned me, and the witnesses in the waiting room! Due to that, I had no issues on my trip and the sore healed in less than a week.....
Mexico was fantastic, and we sailed around Cabo on one of the Americas Cup yachts for several hours in an exciting race with another Americas Cup vessel. They are genuine from the New Zealand race team years ago and performed amazingly! Views were exceptional. We swam with the dolphins in Puerto Vallarta, and enjoyed the interaction with them and being pushed by them....they are truly blessed creatures and I feel lucky to have been with them. Our suite on the ship was stunning, and beyond what we expected. The bathroom was larger than most cabins on the ship and the room with the tub was like a spa! I had a granite dressing table and chair to do my makeup and we had free ELEMIS products for hair and body that worked wonders. DH and I had 3 80 minute hot stone massages and for DH with a back issue, and me with the potential leg issues, helped us greatly. The entertainment on the ship was the best we had seen on all our cruises. The specialty restaurants had some of the best food we have ever eaten on any ship and the staff were some of the friendliest we have ever encountered. There was a party on the ship almost every night, and shows that rivaled Broadway! The weather was warm but clear, and the moonbeams that filled our balcony and livingroom area of our suite were like a fairy tale. We had fog the last evening and day of the cruise, and the fog horn sounding every 3 minutes was enchanting and haunting at the same time. The fog was so dense we could barely see the railing of the balcony, let alone the chairs!
The return was less than I wanted as we encountered severe turbulence on the descent and approach into our city. I actually started crying as the jet sounded like it was being hit by thunder, and the lead flight attendant's voice was shaking as he was making final announcements, with the female flight attendant hiding in the back! There were high wind warnings for the higher elevations for our city last night, with storm coming and flying from Seattle to Anchorage was a pretty bumpy flight, but tolerable. I am very tired today, but got a massage as my back and shoulders were killing me from those last 45 min or so.
The killer sapphire ring Stefan created for me caused more than a little attention. I received so many compliments and admiring glances I lost count. Even DH was pleased. I won't post photos tonight as I still have to cook dinner and am just too worn out, but will post some in the next day or so.
I have missed you all and hope all has gone well for you! HUGS

Welcome back Wench, this place is never the same without you. Sounds like you had a whirlwind of a cruise Thank goodness you made it back safely through all that turbulence, I'm sure your hubs was more than ready to step in and take over the cockpit if needed Please post some pics of your new asscher when you get a chance.
