The reason why I ask is this.... I am EAGERLY waiting on a emerald halo Asha e-ring (my bf and I picked it out and he is ordering it and will hopefully propose soon. It's the Asha Diamonds Nova setting with an 8x6 Krupps center stone (Asha). My dream would be to replace the Asha Krupp with the Amora Gem Krupp down the road (years down the road)...

but here's my concern... BTD announced the sizes and they are as follows: 6.00 X 7.72 or 6.5 x 8.3. I don't really want a smaller stone (will have a gap with halo?) but can a prong setting (4) hold .5 wider and .3 longer? I have heard up to .5 at any side... sigh. I was THRILLED when they announced the Krupps would be one of the six first released, then a little thrown off when they announced the sizes.

I have no idea what the guidelines are for this type of thing but I think you lovely ladies may. Any advice appreciated- thanks!!!
