I feel the need to add a disclaimer that although the ragdoll photo looks •exactly• like my cat, that's not my photo. I was too lazy to dig through mine and edit something down to posting size to fit in the window here, so I swiped a picture from Google Images.

My husband and I are both very much Humane Society and rescue type people when it comes to animals, so Topa is from a rescue org. She was treated very badly before we got her at age 8-ish (it's a guess) and we had to work for months before she trusted us enough to sit and sleep with us. But ever since the day she decided we were ok, she's been under the covers in bed and under the blanket on the couch. Her favorite place is "under." Animals = LOVE!

The lady that bred our corgis has munchkin cats!

I am a rescue type as well for sure! This was our families first purchased cat! I wanted a Munchkin and knew there wouldn't be any at the shelters. I'm currently looking to adopt another - an adult. I am so happy that you were able to rescue Topa and treat her properly. I have a few that were badly treated but they warm up well once you show them that they can trust you!
