I'm having same plan, kashmir and bezel, and I think both of these two would be very pretty!

I like the James Meyer too, but JM isn't working anymore as far as I know. His son is though, but I don't think they set outside stones... Replica's of his rings never look right, imo. I would still go JbEG, while you can, lol.

i wish those two rings could have a baby. i love the julia, but i'd want the bevelled bezel like the jm. and i like the little side "rib" detailing on the shank of the jm, i've had that on a ring before and it's a special little something.

I adore both those settings, but I think a bezel might darken the stone too much, the asscher cut also probably makes the color look darker too.

JbEG might be able to add those little details. They have customized rings before. You should ask!

There is a round kashmir in a Julia bezel on their site and the stone still looked really alive to me. Different cuts for sure though.

those pics make the sapphire appear darker than she really is, she's quite lively.
