Oh, no, no, no Sesha - I was agreeing with you ! And you didn't make me feel guilty, although part of me sure does. Should you all wish to see it, it is here: http://www.etsy.com/listing/32406142/custom-listing-for-sonomacounty-depositPart of me feels like I should go to "jewelry jail" if I tamper with a JKT. But, you all say, the JKT bezel is the most important part and I agree. That is valid & I need to wrap my mind around that before I ship it off. Thanks again, all.

No, it's not high off the finger, that part is very nice. Just a very wide look, due to a wide split split shank.
Oh, do you know how I edit my thread headline? I don't like how I worded it. Tx.

On the weight loss, protein helps keep you fuller longer because it takes longer to digest. As does fiber, so if you eat a high protein and high fiber diet (plus drink a lot of water!) you'll eat a lot less.
I really should follow my own advice, but I like sweets too much.
As for the JKT...I don't know. This is a hard one. If you aren't wearing it, I feel like it's pointless to keep it. I know this from personal experience unfortunately. I had a custom item made by her, the bezels were a mess, and it was much bigger than anticipated. I wore it once besides to try it on. I guess I've come to the conclusion in my years of collecting, that if it doesn't get worn, it's not doing anyone much good. I thought about having someone fix the bezels, talked to people about doing it, and just came to the conclusion that I should just leave it alone.
But certainly not just because it's a JKT. I think she's a half decent designer, but the execution, at least in my piece, was deplorable. I would not work with her again or purchase any of her items.
So, my advice is to think about it. I tend to write lists of pros and cons so I can see it in front of me instead of just thinking about it. That usually helps me make a decision instead of not doing anything.
Honestly, Sonoma, I see exactly what you mean in the design, and it would bug me too. I would not be happy with that either.
