Im glad to get some good feedback on here. I keep thinking someone will compliment it when I am out and about during my day but nobody has said anything yet.

I am sure a lot of people have been looking at it though. I have noticed the same thing happening with my ring and I catch people looking but they may feel uncomfortable saying anything, as they may think it's rude to be so personal.

I find that a lot of people (strangers) don't compliment. Sometimes I think it's a little jealousy - they can't choke out the words to say "beautiful ring" so prefer to ignore. Or are just very discreet that way from being taught you don't comment on peoples possessions.

But if you go to place where there are some really outgoing people who for example can make lifelong friends with the person standing in front of them in line, you can bet someone will speak up!

Yeah I never comment on people's rings. I just try to oogle on the sly, lol. I generally don't comment on anything about a person because it makes me feel awkward in general. I'm awkward about receiving compliments, let alone giving them.

Thanks all! I guess I am the strange one and compliment people on their rings etc when im out and about. haha. That could be that I also worked in bridal for a couple of years so I got used to asking to see girl's rings

If I see a ring that catches my eye and I like it, I will compliment the owner. Just as I would a piece of clothing or hairstyle, makeup, etc.
