Or if you went with a cathedral style solitaire, where the head is set on top of the band instead of integrated into it, then you wouldn't need a curved band (and this would give you the option to match other types of bands with it in the future). These style solitaires can be found here:

And an added bonus is that when don't want to or can't wear the solitaire, since the band isn't curved, it could be worn by itself.
