sparklee sparklee Connoisseur Registered: 03/27/03 Posts: 2080 Loc: North Carolina	Yeah, I know, I can google it just as easily, but I'd much prefer a tried and tested recipe. I've tried too many recipes I've found on google that have failed miserably. If you've made a Hummingbird Cake and have a good recipe, I'd love to try it. Maybe I'll make one this Thanksgiving. $\:\)$ Speaking of hummingbirds, my friend and I used to joke that we were going to make a turducken, but we wouldn't stop at the chicken.. we would use successively smaller birds and finish with a hummingbird. Only one person would get that, since they're so tiny. I know, we were a sick bunch...

We bought a slice and were hooked!! Carrot cake is my favorite, and this cake has a very similar texture and an awesome banana taste. I intend to make one in a week or two and will post pics. Pity we don't have scratch and sniff!!! _________________________ Of course I'm out of my mind - It's dark and scary in there!!!!
