I haven't read through this whole thread yet, but to add color to my Leigh experience, he did warn me that the ring was VERY delicate. It was! But he was very nice to work with, and returning the ring was no problem. That particular style was wrong for me, but he represented it accurately and I had a good experience with him. LOL, and the shank was truly about as thin as a paperclip for the skinny shank lovers

I appreciate your feedback, Erica! Leigh keeps updating his website and I've been sneaking peeks at this beauty all afternoon. Imagine with a 7.5mm Asha OEC...

Thanks, Jsmith! The more I look at it, the more I like it! Ugh, there are 3 settings that I love and I have NO idea how I'll make up my mind.

Yeah, I'm picturing it with a 1.5ct OEC, too. *snicker* That's so far out of my "realistic budget" but I think I can easily come up with an excuse or a story about a great deal, because the average person doesn't know anything about antique stones.
He doesn't describe this setting as being delicate on his site, but I will definitely ask him before purchasing. I learned from Ericader's experience! Maybe he can bulk it up a bit if I ask. And yes, he has a 30 day 100% money back guarantee.

You could always play the family inheritance card.... You know my grandmother, his great grandmother, etc. Since they are such antique stones.

The picture doesn't look delicate but I wish he had a picture showing the bottom shank of the ring as well, not just the top.
