How do I care for my Asha Diamond Simulant?

The simple answer to this question is just like a diamond (you can use ultrasonic cleaners, ammonia based jewelry cleaners, steam clean, etc.), because the upper layer utilizes a form of diamond known as 'amorphous diamond'. However, we wanted to provide more details than that to help ensure your Asha and Asha jewelry stay as clean and sparkling as possible over the years.

One cardinal rule to remember whenever cleaning jewelry - always ensure you clean diamond jewelry individually, even from other diamond jewelry. You do not want to have your diamonds banging together or against other jewelry.

Remember, no diamond or diamond-simulant, man-made or natural, is impervious to chipping, fracturing, or scratching so use common sense in how you treat your jewelry.  Doing so will help ensure you and your jewelry will spend a happy lifetime together.

How do I care for my Akira/Amara pearls?

In order to maintain the beauty of your pearl jewelry, it is important to take good care of Akira/Amara. Compared to other precious stones, pearls are relatively soft and delicate, so extra care should be taken when handling and cleaning pearl jewelry.

Besides being soft and fragile due to their organic nature, pearls are easily damaged by chemicals such as perfume, hair spray, vinegar and lemon juice. Heat can turn pearls brown or dry them out and make them crack. Never store pearls in plastic bags over a long period of time as they will dry out and cause cracking.
