Our reproduction is based on an 1895 Cartier ring for round center stones, with a few updates to improve upon the original. Our reproduction provides a stunning look whereby the upper half of the ring appears to be made almost completely out of diamond.This effect is done by minimizing the metal and delicately setting 10, top quality 2.2mm (.45ctw) natural white diamonds via bead setting (we use extremely well cut, VS1-VS2, F-G color natural diamonds).

The end result is a ring that has become one of the best selling rings we've made to date.

We've also added an interior comfort fit shank, and a new peg head with claw prongs to accentuate the round center stone. Because of the new style peg head, this reproduction is 'band friendly' and provides a flush fit for most wedding bands, including our matching wedding band designed expressly for this reproduction.

Wedding Set options: If you are interested in creating a knockout look with 1ctw of natural diamonds on your finger, consider adding the .55ctw matching wedding band. The band sets flush, and can be used on either (or both) sides of the ring.

When ordered in Platinum or Palladium, our 1895 Cartier-style Reproduction Ring and matching band are among the only rings available in the world that are 'High Pressure Enhanced' after casting.

This cutting edge high pressure process causes densification to the platinum and palladium yielding a finished ring up to 20% harder than normal platinum or palladium!

Ring Shank Details:

10 matched and well-cut natural diamonds, 5 on each side of the ring
10 x 2.2mm natural, well-cut VS1-VS2/F-G side round diamonds,
total carat weight of .45ctw
Now available with our signature 1.5mm surprise diamond on the underside of the ring
Diamonds are '2 bead bright set', same exact style as done on the original ring
Shank is round, not Euro, in keeping with the original ring
Ring width: 3mm

Center Prong Details:

Uses an 8 prong head with claw prong finish - medium prong height for ease of wear.
This ring is suitable for 1ct - 3ct Round, Cushion, Flanders, or Asscher centers, and 1.5ct - 3ct Princess or Cut Corner Princess centers.

We are now making this ring available in pure 95% palladium. Palladium is a platinum family metal and if you want the benefits of platinum (including hypoallergenic and no need for rhodium plating), but at white gold pricing, this may be the metal for you. Please note that palladium's weight is similar to white gold, it does not have the hefty feel of platinum. More info on palladium can be found here.

I love my ring!

My fiancée proposed in December 2010, then let me choose my own engagement ring. I spent 2 months searching everything available in our local shops and everything I could possibly find online. I fell in love with this ring, the 8 prong setting, the classic style, but especially the size, cut and clarity of the side stones. I purchased the Platinum setting and then went my own route and had a 1.69 ct (near-colorless) light violet-blue sapphire set as the center stone. My ring is absolutely stunning and I constantly get compliments. Thank you BTD! I can't wait to get the matching band!

I surprised my wife with this beautiful ring in Dec 2006. She receives compliments all the time - which really is the true measure of how stunning a ring is. I like how the double prongs make the ring unique in its own right. My wife has a 1.1ct round Whiteflash “A Cut Above” H&A stone in the platinum setting and she likes how flush it sits to the setting. Lesser quality settings lift the stone off the ring. The ring has held up well and to this day she still brags about how good a job I did picking this ring out.

I received my BTD reproduction 1895 Cartier Wedding set (in palladium with a
1.25ct center round brilliant asha) just last week and was totally thrilled
with the beauty of the set. It is just so sparkly I can't believe it. The
center Asha looks so real that I love wearing this wedding set. I bought it
to wear to work instead of my Natural Princess Diamond set with a
1.18 center stone because my stone fell out last month and I was scared of
losing it. I love the BTD set so much I wear it even when I am not at
work just because it looks so nice.

I want also want to thank you so much for the quick and informative answer
to my question about using a princess center stone and for the quick
shipment of the rings. Your service is excellent.
This was my first purchase from BTD and I am so pleased that I just placed

"What can I say, other than, absolutely AMAZING. I have looked in
jewelry shops - the most exclusive to the antique jewelers, NEVER did I
think that I would be the proud owner of such a STUNNING piece. HOW do
you guys do it, you must have a REAL gift, it is SOOOOOOOO
BEAUTIFUL!!!!!MORE exquisite than any diamond I have seen, I have
looked at Many!

One thing I will say is the photos on your website MOST DEFINITELY do
not do the ring justice, the workmanship is exquisite, attention to detail
and solid feeling, the stone is SPECTACULAR, and can I say to any future
perspective client YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!!!!! the only problem

I just wanted to say thank you for the incredibly beautiful cartier reproduction ring. It came amazingly fast and I've gotten so many compliments on it. I went into a jewelry store and the jeweler thought for sure that my 1.5 Asha was the Leo Diamond. BTD makes a stunning simulant. Thank you for this very precious ring!
