Lighter than pictured

I bought this stone (1.27ct) to have it set for an engagement ring. It is too light, and more light pink than purple (I was hoping for the dark purple pictured).
However, I still think it is beautiful gem, and I'll have it set in a bezel setting for a pendant. If you are looking for a princess pink stone, this would be a beautiful choice.
