Our Cultured Kashmir Blue Sapphires 

 

Natural Kashmir sapphires, or "blue velvet" sapphires were mined in the remote region of the Indian Himalayans.  Their velvety appearance, and due to the mines from which they were obtained being exhausted, has made finding and buying a true natural Kashmir blue an extremely rare opportunity. 

After a long period of evaluating lab grown sapphires from labs all over the world, we are pleased to offer lab-grown Kashmir color sapphires.

Our lab grown, Avarra(tm) Kashmir blue sapphires are unique in several respects:

• These are *real* sapphire, not imitation...they are simply grown in the lab instead of mined.
• Grown in Switzerland, they feature a relatively high lustre when compared to other lab grown sapphires.
• Unlike most mined sapphires, our lab grown Kashmir sapphires are not heat treated to enhance their color - their beautiful blue comes from being grown with that color natively.
