Our Timeless Cartier 1922 Reproduction Ring, one of our best selling rings for many years.  Originally reproduced as a stunning ring to help house our discontinued Asscher cut Asha® but now available for our Asscher cut Phoenix Moissanite, a custom cut Takara emerald or Alexandrite.  Our Timeless reproduction of an original 1922 Cartier ring, along with an available matching wedding band.

Center stone will be set low, in an 8-prong head, with the same upper look as the original Cartier. Ours will be a lower set prong head though, along with a comfort fit interior shank for ease and comfort during daily wear.

The available matching wedding band is straight and symmetrical, the engagement ring is designed to set flush with the engagement ring.

NOTE: Due to the changes over the years in our casting companies, we cannot guarantee an exact fit if you order a wedding band separately from the engagement ring. We highly recommend ordering them together if you want a matching set that fits together perfectly.

 

 

Please note that this is for the ring and side diamonds only, or effectively a finished ring with no center.  

For a ready to wear ring, please select an appropriate center stone from our available inventory (6.5mm - 9mm Asscher or cushion cuts only) and add it to your cart along with the ring setting, then follow the promts through the checkout process.
We will automatically size and assemble into a finished ring for you.

Or, if you have your own center stone that you would like to have set locally, please specify the measurements, cut, and weight of your center stone (6.5mm - 9mm Asscher, cushion, Flanders or square radiant cuts only) in the 'Order Instructions/Comments' section during checkout so that we can send you a ring mounting that has the correctly sized prong head to fit your stone.

 

Ring Shank Details:


10 of our natural F/G color, VS clarity round diamonds, measuring 1.7mm each, 5 on each side of the ring, for a total carat weight of .20ctw
Diamonds are '2 bead bright set', same exact style as done on the original ring.

Ring shank width:  2.65mm - this ring is meant to emphasize the center stone.

Available in platinum or 14kt gold.

We do not accept requests or financial inducements to "rush" a ring order - it does neither of us any good to rush a ring and then ship you a ring that is less than top-quality workmanship, so please plan ahead and order early.   

If you have a special occasion planned that involves your ring order, please specify the date you need the ring by under the special instructions during checkout - we will do everything we can to make sure you have your ring by the date specified.

We hold the right to refuse any order that needs to be delivered within a timeframe we consider inadequate for the satisfactory and high-quality completion of the ring.

    my fiance and I were a little nervous about ordering my engagement ring online without seeing
    it or trying it on. Christine Wright, the person who receives your email
    is so helpful and always answers my e-mail promptly. If you have any reservations about ordering
    your ring online...don't! You can always receive a reply back.

    As for my ring, I got the Cartier Reproduction with a Flanders instead of Asscher. It is absolutely
    perfect. I have gotten so many compliments on it, but more important than that, I am so happy
    that I get wear this ring for the rest of my life. It's breathtaking.

  2. The cut and craftsmanship is second to none

    Finally, I ordered from Better than Diamond, I ordered a 1.5 Carat Asha Assher Cartier reproduction in Platinum which also had real diamonds on the shank. The customer service was sensational, Christine kept in contact with me through email and was extremely helpful and friendly. for example, I initially ordered the ring in white gold, but after a couple of days decided I wanted it in platinum as all the other pieces I had ordered during this experiment had been in white gold so I wanted to see what platinum would be like. Christine changed my order with no fuss. The ring arrived a couple of weeks later. Presentation was the best so far as it came in a dark wood highly polished box. Very expensive looking. I opened the box and was blown away. This sim is unbelievable - better than any diamond I have ever owned or seen in my life! The cut and craftsmanship is second to none - I have been mesmerized with this ring ever since. It is a unique and elegant cut which sparkles like crazy. The pictures on their site are 100% accurate. The sim has a fire and brilliance I have never seen before. You will not be disappointed in purchasing from this company. It looks 100% real I have shown this to many people and as part of my experiment have told them that it was a real diamond E Color VVS1 clarity and cost me $15000.00 (as this is what it would be if it was not a sim) I have not had one person look at me sideward’s they fall in love with the ring and want it for themselves. They encourage me to get a ring so beautiful and expensive insured as its value would easily be over 20k. Little do they know this ring only cost me only $1500.

    So there you have it Sim lovers! The Asha from Better than diamonds is by far the best!

    "I am writing you to let you know that I have received my Asha® Asscher
    Cartier reproduction ring today. I had waited a long time to decide on the
    right ring and I finally decided on this one. I have done a lot of research on
    simulants ( My husband and I want to spend our money on a new house...)
    and when I checked out Asha® I was really impressed. I want prepared,
    thought to be disappointed because I hadn't ever seen one [diamond
    simulant] that was convincing enough.

    Well, let me get into the reason for this email: The images on your site do
    not do the rings or stones justice! I am completely thrilled with my ring and
    have a very hard time discerning it from a natural diamond. The craftsman

    My engagement ring arrived last week and we are absolutely in LOVE with it. Everything about the stone is just so perfect and the craftmanship is superb. I knew of the reputation of BTD and Asha stones before I ordered but never did I think the finished product would be so stunning until I saw it with my very own eyes.

    The cut of my Asha asscher stone is magnificent - The clarity and depth in subdued lighting is excellent and it really does have that 10 mile deep look to it. I love the hall of mirrors effect and the way the elogated facets are so crisp and well alligned. In bright indoor/sun light the long rectangular steps come alive with intense rainbow colours while the smaller facets around the four corners sparkle up with bright white light.

    I prefer that elegant glisten of this cut over the crushed ice look of the round brilliants or princess cuts. The geometry of this beautiful stone is just so much more interesting and it is so perfectly encased with the clean symmetical design of the Cartier repro setting.

    If anybody out there is sitting on the fence about buying this ring or Asha stones I would not hesitate to reccomend them. My ring and the asscher stone really holds its own when compared to my real diamond ring and totally outsparkles my colleagues' average cut diamonds!

    My boyfriend proposed yesterday and I just love my 1922 Cartier! He paired this setting w a 6.5mm Light Ceylon Blue Sapphire. Everyone has been telling me how beautiful my ring is. I cant wait to look at this ring 50 years from now cuz I know it will be just as beautiful!

    Thank you so much, the ring is absolutely BEAUTIFUL!! The Asscher stone
    is STUNNING. I was worried it wouldn’t be “sparkly” enough, but it is just
    perfect and so brilliant. My husband and I both admired it for at least an
    hour after receiving it. The beveled Tiffany solitaire setting is gorgeous
    and such excellent quality and the low-profile setting is just what we
    envisioned. You have made a believer out of both of us!!"
