Our Flanders is combination of the princess and round morphed into one - the
brilliance of a round, the shape of an elegant princess - brilliance and sophistication in one beautiful stone.

Still looks great. Does it have any scratches on table.... a few yes, but my wife rarely takes it off. Since my purchase there has been a few upgrades to the coating so I imagine durability is even better. 

It's a no brainer to get one of these. In 9 years no one has EVER questioned the stone and it is a 6.5mm size. We have never freaked out when we thought it was lost. Always had complements on it whenever we are in jewelry stores. Three children later the money saved not going crazy on a engagement ring was much better spent."

    *    If you want the flanders to be mounted with the points out, you must specify that under special instructions during checkout. By default, we mount the  flanders stone square in order to protect the corners of the stone.

Note: When purchasing your Asha Flanders as part of a ring order, please specify under "special instructions" if you 
want the Flanders mounted 'points out' or princess style (prongs cover the corners).  
If left unspecified, we will automatically mount like a princess (prongs go over the corner), as this better protects
the corners of the Flanders.

We can set your Flanders cut Asha into the following rings: our 1895 Cartier-style Reproduction, our 1922 Cartier-style Reproduction, Timeless Tapered Baguette, our Micropave Cathedral (2 row or 3 row), our Tiffany Cathedral, and our Classic Tiffany.  When you order a ring and a stone within the same order, we will set your stone free of charge!

    Hi BTD, my wife absolutely loves the ring. She was visibly stunned when she opened the box and saw the stone and gushed about how beautiful it is all weekend long. When I told her it was simulant she was even happier that I didn't spend "three months worth of income" on her present. Thanks again for such a great buying experience. The product is lovely and the customer service was world class. You were able to expedite my order and correct my error on the shipping address and still get it to me in time for our anniversary. Consider me a loyal customer and advocate! I already have my eye on a matching pair of earrings for Christmas. Thanks again.

    I had been waiting months and months for the FLANDERS stone to restock and I'm so glad I did. After ordering it, arrived in 2 weeks. When we opened the box I was in awe & speechless. The cut and sparkle of the stone is INCREDIBLE !! The setting ( Tiffany cathedral) is "simple elegance". The quality and workmanship appears impeccable. I chose a 1.5 ct which is a stunning,yet believable size. I am totally OVER-JOYED with the ring. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !!

    I received my 2.5 carat Flanders cut engagement ring yesterday, and WOW - the sparkle on this thing is AMAZING! The cut is absolutely gorgeous, and I'm so glad we ordered the 2.5 because one of the previous posters is right - it does sit more like a 2 carat. We also had it set in the "points out" style and I must say, it's a totally unique way of having a center stone set - one of the girls admiring it even commented on how it looked "turned". I could not have asked for a more brilliant, beautiful center stone on my ring! Thank you SOOO much, BTD! You have a customer for life! Next up? The matching stud earrings ;)

    I just got a 2 carat flanders in a tiffany setting and it's absolutely gorgeous. If you like the square shape but the brilliance of a round then this is your stone. The sparkle is amazing! Go up a half size tho as it does look smaller. I'm about to buy the flanders stud earrings to match!

    OMFG OMFG OMFG!!!!! STUNNING STUNNING STUNNING!!! I was a little nervous buying from BTD but spent a lot of time on the forums and forever asking customer service questions (who by the way were extremely helpful). I finally decided to buy a 2.5ct Flanders set in a BTD Tiffany cathedral with "points out." I also purchased the matching band in 3mm and they compliment each other well and sit extremely flush. After reading everyone's reviews here and on the forums, I placed this ring on a pedal stool and was worried I would be disappointed when it came in and would find "something" wrong with it. WOW!!!! Not only did the ring climb up on the pedal stool and meet expectations...it tip the whole stool over and had a party!!!! I can't believe the faceting and light it catches. AMAZING!!! Like I said, I got a 2.5ct Flanders. I originally just wanted the 2ct but after reading that due to the depth, they actually read about 0.5mm smaller. I am glad I went with the 2.5 because it sits a lot more like a 2ct. Very Very Very pleased with my order :) :) :)
