Asha® Princess Simulated Diamond
Asha® Princess Simulated Diamond
Version 6 - 2ct Asha Princess

Cut vs. Carat Weight

Version 6 - 2ct Asha PrincessWe cut our princess to optimize for sheer beauty,
whereas most natural princess diamonds are cut
to save as much weight as possible. This is always
a tradeoff between cutting the stone smaller and
thus more beautiful, vs. leaving it fatter and less
able to handle light properly.

The results speak for themselves based on our
many happy Asha® princess customers.

For additional size perspective, or comparisons between different cuts, please download the size chart.

"I just wanted to say that I purchased a 2.5 princess cut stone...after much research about your company and other online companies.

No one can compare to the quality, brilliance and realistic look of your stones! When I recently had my stone reset, I advised the jeweler that the stone was not real. He was floored as he stated that my princess cut was the most prettiest and most flawless stone he had ever seen!

I will definitely purchase more from you. Thanks for having such quality products at a reasonable price! Satisfied customer from the South!"

Animation showing the sparkle of our princess cut Asha simulated diamond

The princess cut is called a square/rectangular modified brilliant in GIA grading reports.
Unlike most simulants, our Asha® princess cuts are correct princess cuts, 76 facets, the same as natural diamond.

Many princess cut simulants are cut via a modified radiant, rather than a true princess cut, which also is an easy sign for knowledgeable eyes to suspect it is a simulant as most diamonds are not cut that way.

In order to ensure that our princess cut was produced as ideally as possible, we asked David Atlas, inventor of the AGA-CERT diamond cut classes, to review our Asha princess.
The full report is available here, but the takeaway summary was this:

"I don't think anyone could do a better job on a princess cut and I have no cutting suggestions.
It looks better than most princess cut diamonds as it is.
The three diamonds it was compared to total $15,518 at wholesale cost.

I doubt anyone can tell which is which unless they are paying for one of the four."

  1. The right choice

By Unknown on June 24th, 2010

I just wanted to let you know I received the .75 loose Princess cut Asha today…I am thrilled.

I spent hours agonizing over the decision of which simulant to purchase…I definitely made the right choice. I just
wanted to thank you for giving me the opportunity to own a simply beautiful and elegant stone…my platinum/diamond engagement setting has a new life!

  2. Breathtaking experience

By Unknown on June 23rd, 2010

The Princess Asha set in my engagement ring came today - it was the most breathtaking experience to see it - even knowing it wasn't a real diamond.
It has the same amount of fire I am drawn to window shopping at jewelry shops. Only I have never been satisfied with any other simulated stone as I am with yours. It has gorgeous light return and color that I couldn't be happier about.
The "steely grayness" is unbelievable, resembling an actual diamond instead of that 'glassy whiteness' other simulated diamonds have.
I have owned many cubic zirconia's (not pleased to say) and other fine simulated stones that I have paid decent money for and I must admit that the Asha is spectacular, even compared to other higher end simulated diamonds available. Originally I held back ordering the Asha due to the price difference compared to other manufacturer's prices but I
tell you, I am not disappointed.
By the way, until actually going with the Asha I had already spent a couple hundred on a stone hat comes nowhere near the Asha. Had I not doubted your site, I would have been
able to afford a larger Asha with my money already spent.

  3. May never buy a real diamond again

By Msg board poster on June 5th, 2010

I have an Asha V6 princess, and an e-ring setting in platinum with F princess cut side stones. The match is perfect!

My jeweler had been trying to sell me a high end diamond forever in F color and he put them both side by side. Even he was impressed with the fire and the sparkle of the Asha and the color was indistinguishable (under both fluorescent lights and natural light).

I'm totally sold on BTD and may never buy a real diamond again. NO ONE has ever questioned my ring and it gets lots of looks.

  4. The Asha Princess stone gives the gift of sparkle

By Anonymous November 2007 on January 15th, 2010

"I purchased a 1 ct princess almost 3 years ago and LOVE, LOVE it. It still sparkles the same--as when I first received it. "

  5. Princess cut Asha stone gives me butterflies

By Anonymous May 2009 on January 15th, 2010

"I just wanted to give you my feedback about the asha 1ct. princess cut diamond I had purchased from you.

    I LOOOOVVVEEE IT!!!!!

I had purchased this diamond just to see if it looked real and wow was I surprised!

I was so happy with my purchase that I told my boyfriend of 3 years (now my fiancé) to buy an engagement setting and put this diamond in it! He had a romantic proposal 3 months later (he wanted to make sure it was a surprise)!

Whenever I look down at my finger I get butterflies. Not only that but I get compliments on it everyday! People always say how beautiful and sparkly my diamond looks!

I had told the secret (it's not real) to a few close family members and they couldn't believe it!

Now my sister is considering getting one and doing the same thing I did!

I would get an asha over a real diamond any day! I just wanted to thank you for an amazing product! It is beautiful! "

  • Stunning!!!!!

By Unknown on 15th Oct 2015

I was devastated when I lost my center stone in my ring so I called the insurance company. There is so much red tape and hassle and a $1,000.00 deductible that I decided to look for a replacement that looked as gorgeous, but not cost thousands of dollars. I found it with the Asha princess cut. The jeweler is going to replace the head to make sure the stone does not come out so I got a 1.25 carat which is .25 carat bigger. The fire and sparkle of it is truly amazing!! Can't wait to get it back. I was very pleased with the customer service that BTD has shown. I received my stone in 4 days!! They have complete instructions for jewelers to follow to ensure the stone does not get damaged as well. Very pleased!!! I will be back for stud earrings soon!!

  • Making everyone blind!

  • Owned my Asha for nearly 5 years now!

By Judy Strickland on 5th Feb 2011

About 5 years ago after many, many hours of research, I settled on the Asha Princess Cut stones. I ordered two one-carat stones, and one - 3 carat stone for a Past, Present, Future ring. From past experience, I was prepared to be disappointed when I opened the boxes, but to my surprise I was more than thrilled. I took them to a very high-end jeweler to have the ring made and he thought they were diamonds. He didn't even question if they were "real" (neither has anyone else). He was very embarrassed to learn they were not "real" diamonds. I constantly get compliments on this ring) I even had a lady follow me out of a restaurant just to look at it. About 2 years after I bought them I read that the Version5 had come out so since I had a Lifetime Replacement Warranty - I exchanged them for the newer version. As happy as I was with the original ones - I was even more thrilled with the version 5. I have learned one thing I'd like to pass along - I clean my ring only with Dawn. It cuts any grease and leaves the stones sparkling bright.RINSE WELL AND DRY WELL. I was told to not use ammonia on these stones so for 5 years now I've used only Dawn. My stones stay Brilliant. I'm thinking about buying a 4ct princess for a solitaire, right hand ring. You will NOT regret buying an Asha stone - they are the best on the market - even better than DIAMONDS!!

  • Very happy bride to be

By Unknown on 30th Jul 2010

"Today I received my Asha Princess cut diamond. OH MY GOODNESS!!!! I could not believe my eyes when I opened the box!!! I cannot tell the difference between my Asha and the dozens of real diamonds I looked at prior to discovering BTD!!! What fire and brilliance!!! I couldn't wait to get to my computer to tell you how thrilled I am with my ring.....what's even better, my fiance and I didn't spend a fortune to have the ring I've always dreamed I'd wear!!! I've bought simulated diamonds before, but NONE compare to the Asha!! I would add that anyone who reads the testimonials (like I did) before purchasing from BTD that has reservations about ordering....go for it....you'll be glad you did!!

Thank you so much for making this bride-to-be happy!!"
