Single Stud 4-prong "Martini" Stud Earring, Customizable

This item is for customers who wish to purchase one of our loose stones and have the stone set as a single stud earring.

Pricing is for one single stud up to 6.5mm stone size, set in platinum

Pricing does not include the stone, an appropriately sized round stone must be added to your shopping cart before placing the order. 

To purchase a single ready to wear earring, simply add one stone of whatever type you wish to your cart and we will automatically set it into the 4-prong Martini style stud and ship a ready to wear/gift stunning single stud earring. There is no charge for the mounting labor. 

These earring settings feature Martini-style mountings in order to fit snugly with minimal droop, and ship in our all-wood earring boxes.

This single stud is available with two options for the earring backs:

The standard friction back (sometimes termed butterfly back) where the tension of the metal nut holds it in place, and the new Protektor clutch locking system. 

We can offer jumbo sized friction backs as well, if handling the smaller standard ones is difficult.

The protektor system is put on by squeezing the two clasps on the side and sliding it into place.  Release and the the lock springs shut locking it into place.  

This is the same style backing used on the highest quality diamond studs.  A photo of the locking Protektor style is shown below:

Kindly note that while we can make earrings in most stone sizes, many stone size options will be considered nonrefundable special orders.  This is because some stone sizes will be much smaller than anticipated, or because some larger stone sizes may droop on certain earlobes.

Due to our sales volume, please allow an average of 15-20 business days (3-4 weeks) between placing an order for these earrings and receiving your order.
Please do not send an e-mail to inquire about the status of your order until at least two to three full weeks have passed since order placement.

We do not accept requests or financial inducements to "rush" an order - it does neither of us any good to rush an order and then ship you an item that is less than top-quality workmanship, so please plan ahead and order early.   

If you have a special occasion planned that involves your earring order, please specify the date you need the earrings by under the special instructions during checkout - we will do everything we can to make sure you have your order by the date specified.

We hold the right to refuse any order that needs to be delivered within a timeframe we consider inadequate for the satisfactory and high-quality completion of our jewelry.

We will *not* consider any requests to deliver an order by a certain date after your order has been placed.
