By Customer for life! on February 5th, 2011
Hi, it's me again. I've posted a review under the "Timeless Halo" review for the setting but I feel that it is appropriate to add on here my experience not just with the setting, but also the Asscher stone and your great CS. Here it is again (BTW, my ring photo is posted under the Timeless Halo ring)...
I've had my 3 ct Asha Asscher loose stone for a couple of months before I decided with the Timeless Halo setting. At first, I was a bit nervous about having the Asscher set in something that was made for cushion. I asked all the questions, communication with Taylor, Less himself and eventually Cathy were all great. They were quick to answer all my questions but what sealed the deal was Less's personal touch - he assured me after speaking to his bench that the finished ring would be wonderful. He said "let's do it", I trusted him and went for it! And I'm so glad that I did. The photo of my ring is posted and I adore it! For something so beautiful, my only regret is that "I" didn't go platinum. The palladium is beautiful, it costs less (comparable to 14 kt) but I miss the weight and feel of platinum. Look-wise, you can't tell it's not platinum. Thank you BTD for making diamond-like beauties and for great craftmanship on the setting. I am definitely a customer for life!!! Please keep doing what you do best and keep us happy!!!! BTW, this is my second Asha. I also have a 2 ct cushion which I had set locally in platinum. When I look down at my ring, either one, I forget that I have an Asha, I always see them as natural high grade diamonds. They ARE that believable!

I absolutely LOVE your Asha stones! My husband purchased one of your
Asscher stones 2.5 years ago for my engagement ring and it's still as
dazzling as ever. No one has ever questioned the authenticity of the
stone, in fact many women that I've shown it off to have been convinced
that it's a Royal Asscher. I feel great knowing that it's not only
gorgeous, but cruelty-free since it is not stained by the sketchy
"blood" diamond industry. Honestly, I don't know why people even buy
diamonds anymore. The new standard should be the Asha simulated
diamond. Not only are they more beautiful and perfect, but are
reasonably priced and good for the conscience. I can't wait for a
future upgrade from my husband, it'll definitely be an Asha for sure!

"Dear BetterThanDiamond,
a few days ago, my husband-to-be and I received our 1.5 ct H color Asha Asscher in the mail, and we were floored!
The stone is exquisite and so much more than we expected. I was reluctant to buy the stone at first because
you were out of the E color, but we decided to take a chance. I am so glad we did. Even under 20x magnification,
the stone is incredibly clean. We took the Asha to four jewelers and NO ONE identified the stone as a diamond simulate.
All everyone said was "Wow, that's a beautiful stone!" We had it set in a semi-mount, right amid genuine diamonds,
and you can't tell the difference! Now I have the ring of my dreams, and it was so affordable.
I can't tell you how happy I am that we found you on the web. Thank you so much!"

"Dear BTD,
My husband and I shopped extensively for a second wedding ring for me. Not wanting to give up the original ring because of sentimental value, we decided to check out more "practical" solutions. We ended up ordering the 2ct. Asha Asscher loose stone and were appropriately impressed upon its arrival. We went to our original jeweler, picked out a mounting and waited patiently for the setting. Impressive on its own, the stone went from OH! to OH MY GOSH! when placed in the ring. We chuckled a little at he jeweler's setter who called her aside and said, "you DID say this was a simulant, didn't you?" We've had compliments all around but the biggest compliments we save for each other when remembering all the zeros we just cut off of the bottom line. I'm wearing the (second) ring of my dreams while the first waits to be passed on some day! You're the Best! Genius! In closing, alI I can say is look at the testimonials; THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT!
Thanks again and again!"

"We received the Asha® Asscher ring yesterday and I have not been able
to stop looking at it. The ring itself is superbly made with great attention
to detail. Without a doubt, it is the most comfortable ring I have ever worn.
The craftsmanship of the ring is equally matched by the fire, brilliance and
quality of the Asha® stone. It makes the other sims I have seen (those
who purport to be the top percent of diamond sims) look like glass."

I recently received my 9mm (4 carat) Asha Asscher (H color) and WOW. Absolutely amazing. My fiance and I had been looking at real diamonds in that size and i decided to go with Asha mainly because no one can tell the difference! And the Asha Asscher is utterly stunning. The 9mm is breathtaking. Even when I took it to my jeweler to be put in a platinum solitaire setting, I told him it was an Asha and he said, "wow - that's amazing. I would never be able to tell this isn't real without using a loupe". His expression was almost disappointment - because he couldn't tell it wasn't a real diamond and he is an expert!
I wear my Asha Asscher everyday with pride. So many people, including women with big carat diamond rings, come up to me and oooh and ahhhh at my ring.
I LOVE IT! I am so happy that I opted for an Asha and not a real diamond - but I'm sure my fiance is even happier!

I ordered a loose 6.5mm (1.6ct equivalent I believe) a couple of months ago. When clean, the stone is breathtaking (even prettier than real asscher diamonds I have tried on). If it gets dirty, however, the stone looses a lot of its depth, which is super important for asschers and emeralds. To me, the savings by going with asha over diamond is well worth taking the extra time to clean the stone more frequently (once or twice a week will do the trick). I'm very satisfied!

I happened on the Better than Diamond website after searching for the perfect environmentally friendly 100% conflict free diamond and finding out that the diamond I wanted is about $27,000. I could never see myself paying that much money for a diamond.
I proceeded to read all I could find about Asha, and though impressed, was skeptical thinking it was too good to be true. I went ahead took a leap of faith and ordered a 2 ct Asscher cut Asha. When my ring arrived I spent about a week staring at it in every light, subjecting it to every criticism I could come up with, wearing it next to my own emerald cut engagement ring (GIA .57 ct, VS1, G) and in the end the Asha wins.
It looks just like a diamond, it sparkles like a diamond. No one would ever know it is not a diamond. I get compliments on it, and the people who I tell it is an Asha say they would have never known. I feel like I got the best of both worlds, a beautiful diamond-like stone, that is conflict free, and did not require us to break into our savings to buy. I’m completely in love with it, and I will never buy real diamonds again (in fact I have sold my real diamonds). I will be a customer for life.

I don't know why anyone would intentionally spend money on an overpriced diamond. sure, they're beautiful, but time's is tough!
my engagement ring is GORGEOUS. I don't think he knows I know it's an asha, but I sent him the link and begged him not to pay for a diamond.
I got the 1.25, I believe. I wear a 4.5 and it is set on a single thin-ish band - the thing looks massive! almost makes me nervous about being questioned big... but no one's ever questioned :)
I couldn't be happier with this stone!

We received our 2.5 carat stone yesterday and all I can say is WOW. Better quality and more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. Under the light the sparkle is breath-taking. It is going to look just gorgeous in the setting we have selected. THANK YOU!!!
