Asha® Princess Simulated Diamond
Asha® Princess Simulated Diamond
Version 6 - 2ct Asha Princess

Cut vs. Carat Weight

Version 6 - 2ct Asha PrincessWe cut our princess to optimize for sheer beauty,
whereas most natural princess diamonds are cut
to save as much weight as possible. This is always
a tradeoff between cutting the stone smaller and
thus more beautiful, vs. leaving it fatter and less
able to handle light properly.

The results speak for themselves based on our
many happy Asha® princess customers.

For additional size perspective, or comparisons between different cuts, please download the size chart.

"I just wanted to say that I purchased a 2.5 princess cut stone...after much research about your company and other online companies.

No one can compare to the quality, brilliance and realistic look of your stones! When I recently had my stone reset, I advised the jeweler that the stone was not real. He was floored as he stated that my princess cut was the most prettiest and most flawless stone he had ever seen!

I will definitely purchase more from you. Thanks for having such quality products at a reasonable price! Satisfied customer from the South!"

The princess cut is called a square/rectangular modified brilliant in GIA grading reports.
Unlike most simulants, our Asha® princess cuts are correct princess cuts, 76 facets, the same as natural diamond.

Many princess cut simulants are cut via a modified radiant, rather than a true princess cut, which also is an easy sign for knowledgeable eyes to suspect it is a simulant as most diamonds are not cut that way.

In order to ensure that our princess cut was produced as ideally as possible, we asked David Atlas, inventor of the AGA-CERT diamond cut classes, to review our Asha princess.
The full report is available here, but the takeaway summary was this:

"I don't think anyone could do a better job on a princess cut and I have no cutting suggestions.
It looks better than most princess cut diamonds as it is.
The three diamonds it was compared to total $15,518 at wholesale cost.

I doubt anyone can tell which is which unless they are paying for one of the four."

  1. Have never seen such a beautiful stone!

By Unknown on July 27th, 2010

"I received my 1.0 princess stone yesterday which I ordered from Winfields. I have never seen such a beautiful stone. I returned it today after receiving your e-mail alert regarding restocking. After seeing the quality of the 1.0 I ordered the 1.5 as my center stone for my engagement ring. Thank you for making such a quality product so affordable!"

  2. Absolutely stunning

By Unknown on July 18th, 2010

Absolutely stunning. I placed the Asha princess next to a [competitors brand name removed...] princess I (unfortunately) bought last Christmas, it was like placing a shard of broken glass next to a quality diamond - not even in the same league. The Ashas actually look better than any natural stone I've bought - and without the high pricetag and insurance that goes with them. Thank you for your quality workmanship in both the stones and the settings. I will be back!

  3. Asha gems really do repel dirt and oils

By Unknown on July 8th, 2010

"I just wanted to take a minute to tell you how much I love my princess
Asha®! I've had it for about a week, and it gets more and more beautiful
every day. I am someone who has tried it all: the czs on shopping channels,
russian czs, moissanite and now finally the Asha®. I am VERY particular,
which is why I have not been satisfied with any other simulant. I love the
color and sparkle and depth of the Asha®. It's gorgeous and, to me, very
diamond like. No one could ever tell the difference! I think my Asha® looks
better than any diamond I've seen! I was very pleased with your service,
and the fact that my Asha® was mounted in a new four prong heavy white
gold setting free of charge. Well, maybe not free, but I wasn't charged
anything additionally. I was very pleasantly surprised at this!

I was a little worried at how it would hold up to soap and water and dirty
film, but you know what, it hasn't been an issue for me, which is a
shocker. Your Asha® gems really do repel dirt and oils that can dull the
appearance of ordinary czs. I am really happy with this, and I just wanted
to let you know. I also appreciate Less taking time to speak with me on a
couple of occasions regarding the Asha® coating. I will definitely be back
again for more Asha® gems. Thanks so much!"

  4. Asha actually looks better than diamonds

By Unknown on July 8th, 2010

"...my Asha® Princess cut stones arrived today. They are even more
brilliant and more lovely than I had hoped for - the cut in stunning and so is
the brilliance and the fire they both have... I compared the 3ct princess cut
to my mother's natural diamond (costing $12,000!!) and the Asha® was
more beautiful than hers is . I think she was a little disappointed at the
difference - especially with the fact that my Asha® actually looks better
    than her diamond..."

  5. Best choice ever!

By Unknown on July 8th, 2010

"Just wanted to tell you that I received my new setting with an Asha®
princess stone this past week. I cannot believe how gorgeous this stone is. I studied
your website for over a month before making a decision to purchase a stone.
I have not regretted it for one moment since. Your business is first-class,
your merchandise top-notch, and your staff very friendly. Thank you, thank
    you, thank you."

  • Stunning!!!!!

By Unknown on 15th Oct 2015

I was devastated when I lost my center stone in my ring so I called the insurance company. There is so much red tape and hassle and a $1,000.00 deductible that I decided to look for a replacement that looked as gorgeous, but not cost thousands of dollars. I found it with the Asha princess cut. The jeweler is going to replace the head to make sure the stone does not come out so I got a 1.25 carat which is .25 carat bigger. The fire and sparkle of it is truly amazing!! Can't wait to get it back. I was very pleased with the customer service that BTD has shown. I received my stone in 4 days!! They have complete instructions for jewelers to follow to ensure the stone does not get damaged as well. Very pleased!!! I will be back for stud earrings soon!!

  • Making everyone blind!

  • Love it!

The princess cut is fabulous. ASHA is much more silvery than a regular cz. I love it

  • Owned my Asha for nearly 5 years now!

By Judy Strickland on 5th Feb 2011

About 5 years ago after many, many hours of research, I settled on the Asha Princess Cut stones. I ordered two one-carat stones, and one - 3 carat stone for a Past, Present, Future ring. From past experience, I was prepared to be disappointed when I opened the boxes, but to my surprise I was more than thrilled. I took them to a very high-end jeweler to have the ring made and he thought they were diamonds. He didn't even question if they were "real" (neither has anyone else). He was very embarrassed to learn they were not "real" diamonds. I constantly get compliments on this ring) I even had a lady follow me out of a restaurant just to look at it. About 2 years after I bought them I read that the Version5 had come out so since I had a Lifetime Replacement Warranty - I exchanged them for the newer version. As happy as I was with the original ones - I was even more thrilled with the version 5. I have learned one thing I'd like to pass along - I clean my ring only with Dawn. It cuts any grease and leaves the stones sparkling bright.RINSE WELL AND DRY WELL. I was told to not use ammonia on these stones so for 5 years now I've used only Dawn. My stones stay Brilliant. I'm thinking about buying a 4ct princess for a solitaire, right hand ring. You will NOT regret buying an Asha stone - they are the best on the market - even better than DIAMONDS!!

  • Very happy bride to be

By Unknown on 30th Jul 2010

"Today I received my Asha Princess cut diamond. OH MY GOODNESS!!!! I could not believe my eyes when I opened the box!!! I cannot tell the difference between my Asha and the dozens of real diamonds I looked at prior to discovering BTD!!! What fire and brilliance!!! I couldn't wait to get to my computer to tell you how thrilled I am with my ring.....what's even better, my fiance and I didn't spend a fortune to have the ring I've always dreamed I'd wear!!! I've bought simulated diamonds before, but NONE compare to the Asha!! I would add that anyone who reads the testimonials (like I did) before purchasing from BTD that has reservations about ordering....go for it....you'll be glad you did!!

Thank you so much for making this bride-to-be happy!!"
