Important note:  Based on customer feedback desiring lower pricing and our own internal data which showed that less than 1% of all customers needed to use the warranty, we have switched to a "Wholesale Direct" pricing policy which lowers the purchase price but no longer offers the lifetime warranty.  Customers who purchased prior to 5/24/05 still have the lifetime warranty in effect, however purchases made from 5/24/05 forward do not, in exchange for the lower pricing.

Our goal with creating Asha® was to not only produce a simulant with more
beauty than most natural diamonds, but to also be able to ensure your peace
of mind when purchasing it by offering a comprehensive lifetime warranty.
Worn with common sense and regular cleaning, your Asha® simulant should
remain as beautiful as ever for your entire life.

Limited Lifetime ‘Bumper-to-bumper’ Warranty

BetterThanDiamond.com, the exclusive producer of the patent-pending Asha®
diamond simulant, offers a comprehensive warranty to ensure that your Asha®
diamond simulant(s) will retain their beautiful appearance for the lifetime of
the original owner. Asha® is a very durable and high-quality man-made
diamond simulant employing amorphous diamond, and as such, with proper
care and cleaning, we fully anticipate that your Asha® will retain its optical
characteristics for as long as you own it.

However, should your Asha® ever become chipped, lose its luster or otherwise
become damaged as a result of daily wear, please contact us to arrange the
return of your simulant and the defective Asha(s) will be promptly replaced. 
Please note that while this warranty covers a full replacement of any damaged
Asha®, it does not cover the labor involved in resetting the replacement
Asha® or return shipping (typically $30 for resetting and re-polishing of your
jewelry, $15 for return shipping via 2 day UPS). You are also welcome to
use your own jeweler for any warranty exchange by shipping us the damaged
Asha®, and we will return a replacement Asha® for you. Please note that to
qualify for replacement, the Asha® simulant must have visible damage to the
naked eye; meaning no magnification device is used to spot the blemish.

This warranty does not cover damage due to wear during unusual activity such
as rock climbing, construction or other hazardous situations where common
sense would indicate jewelry is likely to be damaged.

This warranty also does not cover damage to the Asha® diamond simulant by 
your jeweler unless your jeweler follows the Asha setting guide while working 
with your stone.

Additionally, this warranty does not include loss, disappearance or theft of
your Asha® diamond simulant(s), and becomes void upon transfer of
ownership from the above listed owner. In all cases, the maximum liability of
BetterThanDiamond.com is the replacement of your Asha® diamond simulant
with an Asha® diamond simulant of equivalent value.

Finally, this warranty only applies specifically to your Asha® diamond simulant,
and not to any associated jewelry or accompanying side diamonds mounted in
jewelry.

Keep this certificate for future identification of your purchase(s), as well as for
insurance and warranty purposes. This warranty gives you specific legal rights,
and you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state.

Should you need to exercise your warranty, please place a warranty 
replacement order first and then email us with a description of the 
problem so that we can provide further instructions if necessary. 
Warranty replacements take an average of one to two weeks to complete
from the time we receive your package, for loose stones only, ring resets may take longer.
